Aerial Yoga

There’s something really amazing about letting gravity do the work and focusing on surrendering into a position rather than pushing myself into it
— Mark B., student

Aerial yoga is one of the newest forms of yoga, combining traditional yoga postures with acrobatic arts. Suspended in silk hammocks, these classes will help you build incredible upper body and core strength as well as develop flexibility. But most of our students are in love with aerial because it is fun. If you want to play, and quite literally get in touch with your inner child, this class is calling.

Benefits of Aerial

•Builds incredible core strength
•Provides more freedom of movement to aid with building flexibility
• Anti-gravity makes inversions more accessible than practicing just on the mat
• Creates space in your joints, decreases compression in your spine, and can help you find more mobility

•Aerial Yoga is beginner friendly. No prior experience is required, but we recommend starting with an Aerial Basics class first.
•Provides one of the most blissful savasana experiences, cocooned in a silk hammock
• You'll feel like a kid again!

Aerial cancellation policy

If you need to cancel a booked class, you must do this 24 hrs or more before the class start time, otherwise, it will still be deducted from your class pass / drop-in. We have put this policy into place because of the limited space available in each class, and for anyone on the waitlist to be notified with enough time of an opening. For full booking terms and conditions please click here.

While you should always check with your doctor before engaging in any type of physical activity, including yoga, we recommend avoiding Aerial yoga classes for any individual with the following conditions: Easy onset Vertigo, Fainting, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Sinusitis, Recent Stroke, Botox(within 6 hours), Recent surgery, Glaucoma, Hypertension, Carotid Artery Stenosis, Hiatal hernia or spinal instability, anyone taking anticoagulants or aspirin therapy, high or low blood pressure, history of heart conditions of any kind, pregnancy beyond the first trimester, more then 50lbs over weight, epilepsy, eye pressure problems or inner ear problems.

Tips for beginners

If possible, we highly recommend beginners to attend an Aerial Yoga Basics class before trying any of the other Aerial classes on our schedule. If you cannot make the Basics class, you can email for other options to get started, such as a Private or Semi-Private class.

Beginners are welcome to join in on a Level 1 class. If you choose to do so, please arrive at least 10 minutes early so your instructor can go over basic safety tips with you.
