Fresh (but Familiar) Faces This Fall

The studio welcomes some fresh (but familiar) faces to our teaching faculty this November. Get to know the instructors of our newest classes.

Laura Ahrens

Laura is no stranger to Elements3 Yoga. Laura was a visiting instructor in the Spring of 2015 when her and Andrew co-founded The New School of Yogic Arts yoga teacher training program. She returns this November, leading her signature Core Flow class Monday nights at 6pm. Laura's teaching prioritizes "depth of breath, core-centricity of action, and commitment to the inner work necessary for personal evolution". Laura is full of heart and passion. Lauren Turner

Lauren is also making her return to our schedule this Fall. A graduate of Andrew's & Laura's NSYA YTT in 2016, she led our prenatal and Slow Flow class right up until the birth of her son in July 2016. Lauren will be teaching Slow Flow on Tuesday mornings at 9:30am. In her class. she guides students to bring awareness to the power of their breath as they move through their flow, and to bring greater awareness of the felt sensations that arise during yoga practice. Barbara Heyd

Many of you will recognize Barbara from practicing along side her in class. Barbara is another one of our recent Elements3 Yoga Teacher Training Graduates. Barbaras work as a chiropractor and tai yoga massage therapist lends itself guiding students safely and intelligently through a vinyasa style class. Barbara will be teaching Sunrise Yoga on Wednesdays at 7:00am. Expect gentle but thorough opening, stretching and recharging in this class. Read more about Barbara here.

Nat Couropmitree

Nat's name is made up of two Sanskrit words: 'Courop' which means Respect; and, 'Mitree' which means Unity or Loving Kindness. As a trained Taoist instructor, his mission is to help students reconnect to their essence. Students who have taken Taoist classes before may be familiar with Nat, as he has subbed several classes at Elements3 before.
