Malú Doherty

Malú Doherty (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) is a creative and a Kripalu yogi who loves art, movement, dogs, and nature. As a fitness instructor in 1995 she took her first yoga class in the Kripalu tradition. Naturally curious she went on to explore other traditions of yoga and conscious movement, as well as meditation to deepen her experience of embodied presence. She completed her 200 hr. training at the Kripalu school of Yoga and Health with Devarshi Steven Hartman who continues to be her teacher, as well as a 500 hr. Acharya Spiritual Teacher Intensive to offer further support to those on the journey of self-discovery and personal growth. She continues to be a student in her own personal practice and adds to her yoga education, training in conscious dance, trauma informed yoga, cancer informed yoga, and Reiki. Malú is passionate about sharing the practices of embodied presence, self compassion, and deep listening to heart as a path to living a courageous and authentic life. Her classes are filled with open heartedness, encouragement, creativity, and freedom of expression. You'll always be greeted with a warm smile and welcomed just as you are.
